As someone who can make any standard grip twist and move, and who has long since moved to lock-on grips, I did try these with some trepidation. That was dispelled instantly. They were super comfy, and just won't move at all. I did manage to get a tear in one from poor bike rack packing, but was still perfectly fine afterwards. Although comfy and perfectly usable without gloves, I did notice some wear when used such. (that being said, I go thru grips faster than most people do).
I don't know if I would use these on my DH bike due to the amount of crashing, but I now won't run anything else on a trail bike or XC bike.
